To represent the main article about what it's like to be the "new kid" in school, I took a photo of a year 7 and a 6th Former who both joined BCHS in September 2011. I tried to edit the photo on Fireworks, however I found that very difficult, so I edited it on http://www.picnik.com/. I pixelated the picture, and made sure that only the background was pixelated. I also gave the colour a boost as it stands out more and gives it a better effect. I inserted the text I wanted onto the picture too instead of waiting to do it on Fireworks.
